Paths to Community

There are many paths to community here at Temple Emanu-El.  Members can connect by joining a committee, by helping others who have contacted the Chesed committee for assistance (by signing up on Lotsa Helping Hands), and by participating in services and other events.

Parents and other members gather in HaSifriyah, the Jewish Community Library, and participate in our Temple's book club.  The social action committee plans events that allow congregants to socialize both within and outside of the Temple.

In the last several years, special events have included a congregational trip to New York City, several indoor picnics, Havdalah Under the Stars at members' homes, and galas celebrating the Temple's 75th anniversary and Rabbi Korinow's thirty years of service to Temple Emanu-El.
Our Mission Statement:
“We are a welcoming, diverse, Reform, sacred community committed to embracing and implementing the principles of tikkun olam.
Through prayer, study, and social interactions we honor and share our Judaic values across all generations.”
