Chesed Committee

Did someone say Purim? Join our religious school parents and me on Sunday, March 1, at 9:00 am for hamantaschen baking. No experience is necessary! The hamantaschen we bake is for our Purim service and Purim carnival, as well as packages sent (along with other goodies) to our college and military members and delivered to our homebound members.
Want to learn how to tweet? Can't write a group email to your kids or grandkids? Want to learn how to Facetime or how to “download/upload”? Then join us for Tech Tune-up, taught by our high school students, Sunday, March 22, 12:30 pm. Bring your technology questions and your devices.
Our next Greatest Generation coffee hour will be on Friday, March 27, at 2:00 pm. How special our last coffee hour was for all of us to get together to schmooze!
In April, Chesed Passover packages will be assembled and mailed to our college and military members, and delivered to our homebound members, all of whom appreciate hearing from their Temple on the holidays.
It has been very rewarding for me personally to meet people from other synagogues who ask what our Chesed Committee is doing; I am very proud of all that we do to encourage a sense of caring for and about our members. There's always room for improvement. If you have any suggestions about what more we could do, please let me, Cantor Vera, or another committee member know. Meanwhile … happy almost spring!
