High Holy Days

The High Holy Days are a time for reflection, introspection, prayer, and re-connection.  We welcome you to join us in celebrating and observing these holy days.  We offer a variety of services for all age levels to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse community. Please see below for a list of services.

Tickets
Members in good standing of the congregation will automatically receive their High Holy Day tickets for each adult member of your household. Dependent children in college and children 17 years old and younger do not require a ticket. If you are planning to be out of town during Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur, the Temple office will be happy to help facilitate your receiving tickets at another Reform congregation.

If you have relatives and/or friends visiting you during the High Holy Days who are members of a synagogue of any movement, they will be treated as members here and gain free entry into our services. All we need is a letter from their synagogue stating that they are members in good standing.

Non-members from out of town (who are not members of any synagogue) can purchase entry into our services for $150 per holiday or $250 for a complete package. Arrangements must be made in advance.

High Holy Day 2020 Schedule

Details on High Holy Day Zoom services will be available soon. Please check back!

Book of Remembrance

Picture

The Book of Remembrance is used during the Yizkor services on Yom Kippur, Sh'mini Atzeret, Passover, and Shavuot.

The Book of Remembrance is a major source of fundraising for the Temple and your participation in it by including the names of those whose memories you cherish is really a double mitzvah! Each name to be included is $18.

Book of Remembrance forms for 5781 are available here.

May the souls of our loved ones named here
and all those whom we remember on this day
be bound up in the bond of eternal life.
There are stars whose light reaches the earth only after they themselves have
disintegrated. And there are those individuals whose memory lights the world after they
have passed from it. These lights shine in the darkest night and illumine for us the path....
--Hannah Senesh

We look forward to sharing a wonderful High Holy Day season together!
