Religious School Director

Contact Elli Pripas

Elisheva (or Elli) Pripas is entering her final year of rabbinical school at Hebrew College this year, where she is also pursuing a Master's of Jewish Education. She is excited to return to Temple Emanu-El after serving as the rabbinic intern for the temple from 2021-22. She has also interned at Temple Beth Sholom in Framingham and Temple Beth David in Westwood and taught in the Hebrew School of Temple Israel of Boston. Elli also loves Jewish music and is pursuing a certificate in Jewish sacred music while at Hebrew College. She grew up in the Reform movement in Seattle, where she was a teen b'nai mitzvah tutor.

Elli completed her undergraduate degree at Macalester College in 2015 and her graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2019. Before heading to rabbinical school, Elli worked for six years in the education and non-profit sectors in the Twin Cities, serving students from kindergarten to adulthood and serving as an advocate for anti-violence organizations.

Elli adores musical theater, comedy, and learning. She lives with her wife and two cats in Everett, MA, and will happily share cat photos, if asked.
Our Mission Statement:
