Temple Emanu-El PTO
I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Polly Fisher, acting chair of the Temple Emanu-El PTO. My husband, David, and I have two children in the religious school. I’d like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the Sukkot hot dog student dinner such a success! We had lots of happy children with full bellies.
We are looking for volunteers to help with latke making on Wednesday, December 6th at 4pm. If you have a food processor and/or electric frying pan you can bring, it would be greatly appreciated. We have a lot of fun making (and sampling) the latkes and hope you’ll join us. Please let Cheryl Hill know if you can come, but we won’t turn you away if you decide to come last minute! You can email her at email@example.com or you can call the temple at 978.373.3861. When are we going to eat all these yummy latkes?? Great question! The Hanukkah party is going to be held on Sunday, December 17th at 11:00am. There will be entertainment provided by Aaron Tornberg. And of course, there will be sufganiyot and lots of latkes!!
The Temple Emanu-El PTO is a dedicated and fun group. We always welcome new members, fresh ideas, and suggestions for ways to improve our programs. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to hearing from you!
Kugel Bake-Off FUNdraiser. The PTO would like to thank everyone who participated in the recent Kugel Bake-Off. After the kugel was eaten and the votes were tallied, Lisa Desberg and Andi Hannula tied for first place, with Laura Flieder coming in second. Congratulations to our winners! Everyone present was able to partake of a wonderful breakfast and enjoy the Adult Education presentation, "Why Jews by Choice Choose Judaism." The FUNdraiser earned over $200 for the Adeline B. Watnick Religious School Children's Fund.
